I decided to wait instead of returning the device. Pharos is cheating customers. In Nov 2009 (after 5 months) I contacted again and they said that they have update and not for free even though i bought a new device but with outdated maps. I bought Drive 200 in June 2009 but maps are very old and out dated. I contacted customer service and they told me to wait for updates and did not mention that updates are not free. They sold an useless device (because of outdated maps) in the first place and on top of that they want to make money on customers helplessness. NO WONDER WHY THEY ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS.
I thought the 4" size would be nice. So after the first one was bad, I tried again. Two in a row, buttons wouldn't work. What quality control this refurber has.
Bought it as a present for someone else and fell in love with it myself very good product and caught it at a reallll nice price.
The screen will freeze up on you and then you have to do a hard restart. This is not a bad unit for the price. I believe that it was more operator error then anything else. We used it to travel down to D.C. area and had only a one problem with it. I would highly recomend this unit to anyone who is new to Auto GPS. You can't beat the price on this.
What a disaster after buying this GPS, absolutely waste of money. Very outdated map and first 2 week got the signal after half hour and later there is no signal and waiting for signal for ever. Contacting customer service is pain, now I sent this device to them for repair by my own expenses.**Waste of money, do not buy this GPS**
